Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Purrepme ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Black Labeled Limited ("we," "us," or "our"), the company that operates Purrepme.

2. Description of Service

Purrepme is a TOEFL preparation platform offering practice tasks, AI-powered feedback, section tests, mock tests, and progress analytics. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.

  • Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

  • Not share your account with any other person.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Pro Access Passes

Purrepme offers fixed-term Pro Access Passes (1-month, 3-month, and 6-month). All purchases are one-time payments that grant access to Pro features for the stated duration. Pro Access Passes are not subscriptions — they do not automatically renew, and no recurring charges will be made to your payment method.

Your Pro access ends when the pass expires. You will not be charged again unless you choose to purchase a new pass. Multiple passes can be stacked; any new pass time is added on top of your remaining access.

5. No Automatic Renewal

We do not offer automatically renewing subscriptions. When your Pro Access Pass expires, your account will revert to the Free tier. You will not be billed again without initiating a new purchase. No cancellation is necessary to avoid future charges.

6. Future Pricing

We may introduce new pass types or change pricing in the future. Any such changes will not affect passes you have already purchased. We will communicate pricing changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a pricing change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing for any future purchases.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Purrepme — including practice materials, question sets, AI feedback, branding, and software — is owned by or licensed to Black Labeled Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial TOEFL preparation purposes only.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its servers.

  • Reproduce or redistribute practice content for commercial gain.

  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Service.

  • Share your account credentials with others.

9. AI-Generated Content

Purrepme uses third-party AI services (including Google Gemini) to generate feedback, scores, and coaching suggestions. AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee of TOEFL performance. Scores and band estimates are approximations and may not exactly match official ETS scoring.

10. Audio Recordings

Speaking tasks require you to submit audio recordings for AI evaluation. By submitting a recording, you grant us a limited licence to process and store the audio for the purpose of providing your evaluation results. Audio recordings are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted. You may request early deletion from the Settings page.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific TOEFL score will be achieved through use of Purrepme. ETS and TOEFL are registered trademarks of Educational Testing Service. Black Labeled Limited is not affiliated with or endorsed by ETS.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Labeled Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for your most recent Pro Access Pass.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
